WHY GTM 4.4 / TEN REASONS

The complete product behind the V8 concept.

The BMW M4 is the starting point. GTM 4.4 is the product.

01

A GTM track tool with its own identity.

Built on the BMW M4, GTM 4.4 follows a clear technical concept that shapes the complete vehicle.

Powertrain, chassis concept and vehicle setup come together as one product and form the common foundation for every GTM 4.4 build.

02

M4 proportions. S63 V8 character.

The BMW M4 F82 is combined with the twin-turbo 4.4-litre S63 V8 from the BMW M5 F10.

The compact proportions of the M4 meet the power delivery of BMW’s S63 V8. This distinctive combination defines GTM 4.4.

03

Engineered as one system.

Every major system is selected, integrated and calibrated around the complete vehicle.

Engine, transmission, cooling, electronics, suspension, brakes and aerodynamics work toward the same performance objective. Their integration determines how the car behaves under load.

04

A defined core. A personal specification.

The core technical concept stays consistent. Selected details and the final setup are tailored to the owner and intended use.

Colour, interior, seats and selected body details can be specified individually within the GTM 4.4 concept.

05

BMW M4 GT4 hardware in the chassis package.

Selected original BMW M4 GT4 components form a substantial part of the GTM 4.4 chassis package.

Documented suspension, braking, wheel and aerodynamic components provide a genuine technical foundation that GTM integrates and calibrates as part of the complete vehicle.

06

Developed on real race tracks.

GTM 4.4 is developed under the conditions it was created for.

P01 has been tested and developed at MotorLand Aragón, Portimão, Estoril, the Nürburgring Nordschleife and Barcelona-Catalunya, with professional-driver feedback informing each phase.

07

Calibrated for the driver and intended use.

A wide adjustment range allows the car to be shaped around how and where it will be driven.

Power delivery, suspension, geometry and other parameters can be calibrated around driver level, driving style, circuit characteristics and intended use.

08

Documented from assembly to track testing.

The first GTM 4.4 carries a traceable technical history across build, testing and road approval.

Measured data, build records, testing on five circuits and P01’s German individual approval make its development history traceable.

09

One process from specification to handover.

GTM coordinates the project and remains your point of contact throughout.

Depending on scope and country, this can include specification, build, setup, technical preparation, registration support, logistics and delivery.

10

Familiar components. Practical ownership.

The BMW-based systems provide access to established service knowledge and parts supply.

Maintenance, repairs and consumables are considered alongside the specification and intensity of track use.

04 / BUILD PROVENANCE

A technical record for each vehicle.

GTM’s documentation process brings together the vehicle number, specification, test history, setup, handover and service records. The second GTM 4.4 is in development and will be used to establish a repeatable build process.

§21
05 / DOCUMENTED P01 STATUS

P01 has documented German individual approval.

The documented status belongs to Prototype P01. It does not automatically transfer to another build or another market. Every future project requires its own technical and legal assessment.

TECHNICAL CLARITY

GTM 4.4 uses selected BMW M4 GT4 components without claiming GT4 homologation.

Selected documented BMW M4 GT4 components are integrated within GTM 4.4. GT4 describes the origin of those components. GTM 4.4 is an independent track tool outside the GT4 racing-class formula.

06 / DOCUMENTED SPECIFICATION

The technical specification of Prototype P01.

These figures and components describe P01, based on vehicle records and GTM engineering information. Future builds are assessed and documented separately.

07 / OWNERSHIP

BMW-based systems for service and support.

Familiar BMW systems support servicing and parts sourcing. Maintenance is planned around the demands of track use.

01

Track-led maintenance

For P01 track use, GTM’s engineering team gives provisional oil-change intervals of 1,000 km for the engine, 2,000 km for the differential and 3,000 km for the M-DCT. These are reference values, not a final service schedule.

02

Technical diagnosis

A suitably connected laptop can transmit fault codes and sensor data for remote diagnosis. Availability and scope are agreed for each project.

03

Track-tool character

Noise, heat, direct feedback and consumable wear reflect P01’s intended use and are considered during handover.

08 / COMMISSION

A GTM 4.4 commission begins with the driver and intended use.

The next GTM 4.4 is in development. Intended use, experience and country of use are clarified before a specification is proposed.

Scope, specification, legal route and delivery are defined for the individual vehicle.

09 / GTM GMBH

GTM develops its vehicle projects in Müllenbach near the Nürburgring.

The location keeps the development loop short: inspect, adjust and return to the circuit. P01 is the result of specialist engineering and real track use in that environment.
